Some research...

Well... didn't do any work on the 1/2 cut, nor on the MR2... but required to perform some research....

1) Wiring was getting me very concerned, and it's at this point that I contact Doug (or also known as MR220v). He offers a service in which you provide him with the New engine harness + current Engine harness... and he simply splices them into one harness, and it pretty much becomes plug-and-play. He's done over 60+ harness so far, and I opted out to use his services. He's an awsome guy to deal with, and a lot of patience to explain things to you.

2) On the MR2 forum (http://www.mr2oc.com), there were a few developments in group buys, which I decided to participate. (By the way... this is a very useful link to anything that is related to the MR2s)
2.1) Coolant lines... Because the 20v BT engine has slightly different coolant lines, new coolant lines need to purchases... there was a group buy for a custom kit specifically addressing this problem.
2.2) Vacuum Lines... Even though the 20v BT engine is a newer engine, it's still about 13 year old engine... hence, it'll be easier to replace them now than later... it's a real bugger when you try to hunt for a vacuum leak once the engine is in the bay.
2.3) Selector Shaft seal adaptor... Basically, I wanted to reuse the 20v BT gearbox, because it comes with LSD, and has better shift points for the BT engine... But the selector shaft is on the opposite side of the gearbox... this needs to be shifted across, by drilling a hole in the case and mounting this custom adaptor... (Pictures will follow as the items come in.)

All these items were purchase from http://www.side2sideracing.com/... This is another MR2 shop, and again, great guys to deal with... MR220v services are also offered as part of the service through Side2SideRacing...

So that is pretty much the research I had to do before continueing on the next working session...
